Essence of Christmas

"Christmas",A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.

Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. Christmas is love. It’s a time to be thankful for anything and everything.we remember His birth by giving each other gifts, worshiping Him, and being especially conscious of the poor and less fortunate.

This season let us never forget the love we have for Jesus. Because Jesus guides us every year. And I hope the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts.

Children's Month

The National Reading Month, is an annual celebration every November that promotes the love for reading and its importance to all especially to Filipino learners.

This year's theme that the Department of Education has released"Pagbasa:susi sa magandang kinabukasan".Reading has a significant number of benefits. If you're one of countless people who don't make a habit of reading regularly you might be missing out. Just like any other muscle in the body the brain requires exercise to keep it strong and healthy. Everything you read fills your head with new bits of information and you never know when it might come handy. The more knowledge you have, the better equiped you are to tackle any challenge you'll face.

People should make reading a necessary part of their lives. It may be a half an hour a day everyday or a happy couple of hourd on weekend. Keep reading no matter what!

Reflection:2nd Grading

Our topic on ICT 2nd quarter is focused on Internet particularly on parts of a web browser and basic structure of HTML. This grading is full of interesting things that we can do on internet and how it works.

At first I think our 2nd quarter in ICT will be boring because I think we will tackle again what we have learned in first grading because they say that this quarter will tackle internet again. But I was surprised that Mrs. Vera Cruz taught us the deeper side of internet like how they are made and how do programmers make a page. We also learn simple tags that ca create or execute simple pages using notepad on Microsoft.

This quarter is amazing. Hoping next quarter that we will have more enjoyable activities that is simple but educative and more unexpected discussions. And also I hope that there will be group activities.

UN 2018

The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization tasked to promote international co-operation and to create and maintain international order. A replacement for the ineffective League of Nations, the organization was established on 24 October 1945 after World War II with the aim of preventing another such conflict. At its founding, the UN had 51 member states; there are now 193. The said organization is celebrated on the month of October

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the declaration by the General Assembly, in its resolution 47/196 of 22 December 1992, of 17 October as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Call to Action by Father Joseph Wresinski which inspired the observance of October 17 as the World Day for Overcoming Extreme Poverty and the recognition by the United Nations of the day as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. 2018 theme: Coming together with those furthest behind to build an inclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity This year marks the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is important to recall the fundamental connection between extreme poverty and human rights, and that people living in poverty are disproportionately affected by many human rights violations.

This year’s UN theme has a nice message and advocacy. Hoping that because of this organization poverty will be eradicated. And this is very applicable for our country because of the victims of injustice on war on drugs.

Advancement of Technology

All Institutions across the country, from preschools to tertiary schools celebrates or implement different activities and seminars as a way of enhancing student's skills and the way how they think. The National Science Month Celebration is one of the most awaited event in different schools.

The theme of this Year's National Celebration of Science is Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials Activating Technological Advancements. In my own understanding the message of the theme is the national science club aims to focus the advancement of our technologies nowadays. Because we all know that almost all of us uses technology on our daily life especially on important works that makes our country productive. This brought us significant changes in the world today and even upcoming changes that we will face on future. Others also says that, The theme also assigns to the youth and Science clubbers the responsibility or role of accentuating potentials and activating technological advancements.

Everything in our world that we use somehow or someway was made by the combination of our technologies and science. Studies of technology and science gives insight into the understanding and knowledge of technology, science and knowledge from the viewpoint of the humanities and the social sciences. Throughout the course of study students will become familiar with amendments of social and cultural analyses of modern science and technology in interaction with social, political, economical and cultural processes of change. So let us continue to advance our technologies and we should use it well.

First Quarter:ICT 10

We know that Internet is very Useful these days especially on us students. The first quarter of our ICT is mainly focuses on how are internet works. I learn a lot from our subject just like Internet history, who are the Pioneers on the internet history. One of the best lesson that we learn is creating a blog, because in here you can express your feelings and some of your knowledge.

Because this my first time to create a blog, I encountered many problems. I’m not good in creating an essay even simple essay so one period of our ICT subject is not enough for me to compose a blog. Another problem is in picking an attractive theme, There are many themes that you can choose but the problem is, sometimes some themes   do not support the format of the blog that I want to publish, so I choose this simple theme even its quite plain but at least I can use any format with ease.

In order to overcome this challenges, I need to enhance my writing skills by reading some blogs also where I can learn the formats in creating an adorable essays for my future blogs this coming days. I will also read many English books to make my writings better. I need also a determination in creating blogs like this.

Moving on. I will continue my blog to share my thoughts and knowledge to other people. And hopefully one day I will become a good writer. Overall, I can say that ICT 10 is very enjoyable. Thanks to our subject teacher Mrs. Vera Cruz, who always helps us on creating our blog.

 1.
Embedded journalism refers to news reporters being attached to military units involved in armed conflicts. While the term could be applied to many historical interactions between journalists and military personnel, it first came to be used in the media coverage of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The United States military responded to pressure from the country's news media who were disappointed by the level of access granted during the 1991 Gulf War and the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan
